This painting is about motion; I used large brushes for the blurred background, hoping for the abstract look of noise, crowd, heavy equipment; this for the purpose of focusing on Moonie's four friends, who are either worried or amused at what is about to happen. It was professionally and lovingly framed by the Sewickley Gallery and Frameshop in a 1" white moulding.
