Sand Castle

The frame is a simple 3/4" light wooden moulding. This one was lovingly and professionally framed at Frame Designs Gallery.
 
So intent on building a sand castle that she does not notice the weet sand dripping from her hair, Lia listens itently to her older brother's advice about constructing sand architecture. Pattern is what drew me o this scene; I'm fascinated with all the shapes in the sky, the water, the wet sand. This one was a joy to create - it almost painted itself! Thanks to my great neice and nephew, Cam and Lia, for modeling.
